MHPSS in humanitarian work

I have worked with mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) for 18 years in different countries, settings and ways. I have experience with programme development, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, resource mobilization, advocacy and research.

I have worked extensively with the development, adaptation and rolling out of interventions and training curricula on a variety of topics, including: 

  • Psychological First Aid: for adults, children, staff and volunteers in groups, persons affected by SGBV.
  • Scalable psychological interventions: Problem Management Plus, Self Help Plus, EASE
  • MHPSS in emergencies
  • Community-based MHPSS approaches
  • MHPSS for children, adolescents and families
  • Child protection and child safeguarding
  • Suicide prevention
  • Monitoring and evaluation of MHPSS programmes and components
  • Caring for staff and volunteers
  • Stress management and self-care (e.g. Self Help Plus)

Costs

Each task will be considered individually. My rates vary according to the length of the task from EUR500 - EUR700
